Cote is the acronym for Care of The Estranged For Social Development. We are a Not-for-Profit, Non-Governmental (NGO).
The past two decades in the world have seen as extraordinary explosion of entrepreneurship and competition in the social
sector. The social sector has discovered that there is nothing as powerful as a big new idea-if it is in the hands of a first
class entrepreneur.
Care of the Estranged For Social Development (cote) seeks to build ‘social capital and ‘social profit in the
areas of health aimed at improving the quality of life and healthcare in Nigeria.
Care of the Estranged was established by young people, who were grossly dissatisfied with the nonchalant attitude displayed
towards people (especially the poor, the sick and the unemployed) who are faced with a lot of hard ships as a result of economic
and health conditions; particularly those estranged from family members or passing through emotional trauma.
Cote is run by run by core professional staff who administer and coordinate her programs under the direction
and supervision of an executive board.
Vision
To uphold a Nigerian with increased love, care and support for the sick as well as the less priviledged in the society.
